The "Home" has a "Governing Body" as required by the Indian State for "Charity" status. The "Governing Body" is required to meet at least once per year and to consider any major changes in management objectives and purposes. The Director is in charge of all day to day management, disciplinary and budgeting issues. The Governing Body has recently decided that the aim of the "Home" should be to reduce the number of children in the "Home" so as to provide better opportunities for those who remain.

Of the 7 staff, 5 are members of the Director's family and others are voluntary helpers who live in the "Home". None of the staff receive any salary but they are provided with their basic living needs
