OBITUARY

I am deeply regretted to inform you all that P Immanuel Founder President of Hosanna Children Home Ministry, Lower camp,Theni Tamilnadu, India has passed away on Jan 23,2009 at Madurai Hospital after prolonged dieases(Cancer).

He was born in August 1948 in a remote village in the South Part of Tamilnadu,India.His parents were converted christians,very strong belivers of Jesus Christ.His mother tongue was Tamil.At the age of 17 he accepted Jesus as his personal saviour and dedicated and devoted his entire life the gospel work.He has completed his BTh from Southern Asia Bible College,BANGALORE,he then worked as registrar in a Tamil Bible college in Madurai apart from his Pastrol work in Church for brief time between 1974-76.He also completed his B.D from Yetmol Bible College, Maharastra,North India. He had also been graduated M.Th from Gardon Convel Seminary, Boston, USA between 1977-1979.Soon after graduation from USA, he returned to India and dedicated his complete life for Children Ministry.More than 10000 orphans/unprivileged/underprivilged and disowned children from the weaker sections irrespective of class composition of castes have been brought up with the confidence that JESUS LOVES YOU and JESUS CARES them.The kids have been brought up under christian way of life to stand as a witness in the hindu nation.

Immanuel is more than a conqueror through Jesus,he has been faithful unto death and now receives a crown of glory in heaven,he has also the priviledge of sitting with Christ on HIS throne just as christ is seated with the Father on His throne.I am sure such glory is beyond the imagination of any of us on earth.I am sure Jesus Christ same esterday today and forever and also sure you will all be with us as you had been with the departed missionery.

He has left more that 100 children and few workers children are crying and weeping. A new board under the leadership of me has been formed to carry forward the work left by Immanuel for the Glory of HIS KINGDOM.

Dear Stuart,

We are passing thro hard time. We have lost a wonderful god's child my brother Immanuel. I had been with him throught his time of surgery and follow up treatment. In his absence I also had been with children. Pastor Joel Durai helps me lot to carry out the Lord's work left over by Immanuel.I sincerely thank you and our parents** Dr Martin and Mrs Martin for their love on us. I assure you the same co-operation that my late brother extended in this children ministry.We love you all very much kindly continue to pray for us.I have now shouldered the responsibility and the works left over by my late brother immanuel.
