We have recently heard that Pastor Immanuel, Director of the Children Home, has been very ill in hospital in Madurai. Together with the death of his father, these have been difficult times for everyone involved at the home, but the children continue to be cared for by the Pastor's wife and family members. Immanuel has recently returned home and we await news of his progress.

I would like to warmly welcome you as a visitor to our Internet Site.
I have given my life to the Lord and in his service I was moved to open the "Hosanna Children Home" to meet the desperate needs of the children of Tamil Nadu in Southern India.
This site will introduce you to the work we do, to the "Home" and the problems which we all face.
I hope, most dearly, that you will be moved to give us help by means of your prayers and financial gifts.

The aims of the Hosanna Children Home are
To provide a "Christian Family" environment for underprivileged children in South India
To provide development and vocational preparation to enable "Graduates" of the home to take up an active role in society in South India

The origin of the Home
The family of the present Director, Pastor P.Immanuel, has provided pastoral Christian support to the dispersed communities in the rural areas of the Cardomum Hills in Southern India since the 1930's. Pastor Immanuel obtained a three years scholarship to Gordon College, Boston, USA in 1970. On his return to India he extended his family's work to provide sanctuary for a number of young people who he identified as being in need of support.
